Handspun Hat

I know I haven't posted in forever and I'm sorry!  Each year I say I will do better and then I don't!  My sister has been getting on me about updating the blog.  So today, I post!

I just finished a hat that I'm really proud of!  I spun the yarn myself and it was my first time combining two different colorways.  I got my 4 year old model it for me!

I haven't posted on my blog in months, but I did want to check in to say Merry Christmas to everyone!  I hope it has been a wonderful year to all that is reading this and I wish you and your love ones a blessed New Year!

Love of my Life

Oh how time flies!  Eleven years ago today, I married one of the best men God put on this earth!  He is a loving, caring, easy-going, and hard working man that sees the good in every situation.  It doesn't seem like it's been eleven years of marriage but when I look at our three sons, I know some time has to have pasted.

Jay and I have really been together for almost eighteen years!  I know what you're thinking, almost two decades!  Yea, that long!  But it doesn't see like it to me.  I've enjoyed all my time with him and I so look forward to many more years of love together!

A Visitor in the Flowers

I was upstairs this morning and I just happened to look out the window and saw that we had a little visitor in the front yard.  The kids wanted to keep it, but I told them no just let him be free!

 

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing mothers out there!  Our responsibilities are never ending, but the love we get from our kids is priceless.  I hope your families are treating you like the queens you are!  Enjoy your day!

Christmas Day and the Day After

The kids managed to sleep until 6:45 am before waking their dad and me up!  Here are some of our Christmas day pictures.

After nearly 24 hours of snowing, this is what my backyard looks like the day after Christmas. Our first Christmas in the new house and it was a very white one!
