Progress on Rusted Root

I have to admit when I first saw this pattern I thought it was lovely, but I didn't think I would have the patiences to do that lace pattern down the front of the sweater. I have only been knitting for about 3 and half to 4 years and I had never done lace knitting. Well, I was totally wrong! This pattern is incredibly easy to knit so far.

I am slowly making progress. This is also the first time I have used Cotton Ease yarn. It is soft, easy to work with, and looks great with is pattern. I am already thinking about how I can make me another sweater based off the knitting style of this one but with some other pattern down the front. I would love the chance to make something else with the Cotton Ease in the color Lake.
